A hands-on space to practise, make mistakes, and try again.
For adult AED familiarisation with an instructor. Not a medical device, emergency guide, or certified course. Have a qualified instructor review it before using it in a class.
This generic semi-automatic trainer uses a separate pad connector. Real AEDs vary: some turn on when opened, have preconnected pads, or deliver shocks automatically. Follow their prompts and pad diagrams.
Hands-on manikin practice is needed to assess compression depth, recoil, hand position, and rescue breaths. This screen can only practise sequence and tapping rhythm.
Child/infant use, implanted devices, medication patches, heavy chest hair and other special circumstances are outside this prototype.
Guidance checked 9 October 2026:
The real response continues: keep the pads attached and continue CPR following AED prompts until professional help takes over or the person shows clear signs of life and normal breathing.
A practice score is not evidence of CPR competence or certification.
